Claims
From first notification of loss to settlement — with every reserve movement on the ledger, an AI triage assistant to speed the routine, and automatic reinsurance recoveries.
Best use case
Claims teams handling P&C or life claims who want reserves that hit finance automatically, and recoveries raised the moment a ceded policy has a loss.
The claim lifecycle
- Register the FNOLCapture the loss against its policy (or straight from Outlook with the add-in). The claim carries the insured, loss date, description and an estimate.
- ReserveSet and adjust the reserve; each movement posts to the ledger (claims incurred / reserve) — a release posts the reverse. The outstanding = reserve − paid.
- Approve & settleRecord approvals and payments through to settlement; salvage and recoveries reduce the net.
AI triage
On any claim, the assistant proposes a coverage assessment, a reserve range, recommended next actions and a draft acknowledgment — grounded on the policy and claim data. It is a proposal; nothing moves without a human.
Reinsurance recoveries
Where the policy is ceded under a treaty, reserving the claim auto-drafts a recovery(proportional to the ceded share). A user confirms the recoverable and collects — closing the loop back to your reinsurers.
Best practices
- Reserve early and adjust as you learn — the ledger tracks each movement, so IBNR discipline is visible.
- Use AI triage to draft, then a human decides — keep the approval gate.
- Confirm recoveries promptly so your net claims position is accurate.
